YOZO YZ-DD Series Double Shaft Industrial Waste Shredder employs a dual-motor, dual-planetary reducer drive system, fully utilizing the shearing and tearing principle between the moving blades on the two main shafts to shred materials.
This series of shredders features high power, low speed, and high torque.It is commonly used in environmental protection fields such as Industrial solid waste disposal, resource recycling, and waste incineration pretreatment for WtE and cement plant, etc.

Two intermeshing shafts equipped with cutting discs or hex shafts with mounted cutters rotate in opposite directions at controlled, low speeds. This design generates immense shear and tensile forces, effectively "grabbing, tearing, and shearing" materials rather than merely chopping, making it ideal for tough, fibrous, and ductile items.
The entire operation—from feeding and shredding to reversal and discharge—is managed by an intelligent PLC system. It allows for precise control over parameters like speed, torque, and direction, and facilitates automatic responses to overloads (e.g., auto-stop and reversal).
Built with high-grade steel (often Hardox or equivalent) in critical areas, the machine features a reinforced frame, thick-walled cutting chamber, and oversized bearings to withstand constant shock loads and abrasive wear.
